How do you know that you have made a committed decision? Your results demonstrate that you have made a committed decision.

Last week we saw that one sign of making a committed decision is that it shows up in your cheque book and on your calendar.

Another sign is, you see the decision of what you value and truly desire. For example, you may value being comfortable, but if you would rather stay broke and know where you are rather than take a risk and make it worse, then you have decided to be comfortable — and broke.

What decisions do you need to make to get the results that you desire?

In your own business, one decision you can make is to take a stand for your clients by pulling them out of the quicksand of where they are and towards their goal, especially when they say that they “can’t afford” your services. If you truly believe that your service can and will change lives and is worth every dollar, then you must take a stand for your clients by speaking the truth and not holding back.

For example, If you are a life coach and you truly believe that your coaching program will help the client, then you need to let her know that if she does not take this opportunity she may not get married and have the kids that she wants. Or, she won’t make the 6-figure income that she wants in her business, etc.

Up to this point, you may be in the habit of saying what you feel inside your head but not out loud. You need to decide if being liked is more important than generating a sale.

As you prepare to leave this island, I encourage you to make a committed decision towards the life that you desire. This means leaving your ego at the shore, walking through the fire of fear, and claiming the results that you desire. Make a commitment to break through stuckness and fear and be the extraordinary person that you already are.

Write your decision down and sign it like a contract. There’s no turning back.
